Oriol Vatelia is a Haitian-born media executive, director, producer, editor, and creative strategist based in South Florida. With more than two decades of experience, his career spans film, television, music videos, corporate media, documentary storytelling, and live production.
As the creative force behind Vatelia Media, he has built a career working across entertainment and business with notable personalities, major brands, Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, and organizations. His early work included high-profile weddings for clients such as Michael Vick and Asante Samuel, an extensive career directing and editing music videos, and corporate marketing and media work for clients including Venus Williams. These experiences helped shape a creative approach rooted in emotion, visual storytelling, and strategy.
His filmography includes serving as Producer and Co-Director of The Dangerous Seduction (2025) and Strategic Producer and Editor of This Unexpected Love (2022), along with extensive work across film and television production. Vatelia Media continues to evolve as both a production company and a hub for creatives, bringing together filmmakers, artists, and production professionals to develop and execute ambitious projects.
Vatelia’s work is also deeply connected to Haiti. Through years of documentary filmmaking for nonprofit organizations, his storytelling has helped raise critical and substantial funding for humanitarian and development initiatives. He serves as Vice President of World Ag Missions, supporting sustainable development and economic opportunity in Haiti, and Vice President of the Lumana Foundation, advancing health, prevention, education, and community wellness.

His vision includes producing, directing, investing in, and owning original work while developing stronger distribution pathways connecting Caribbean filmmakers and stories to international audiences.
